MR. WOODROW WILSON "POP" BLALOCK, JR. - Age 75, of Dalton, GA passed away Friday, September 10, 2021 at a local Health Care in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He was a member of the Baptist faith. He was born on May 23, 1946 to the late Woodrow Wilson Blalock, Sr. and Muriel Burse Blalock. One brother, Melvin Blalock preceded him,

Survivors are his two loving and devoted sons, James Tony (Retha) Blalock of Ringgold, Georgia and Gregory Blalock of Macon, Georgia; brothers, Jimmy Lee (Margie) Blalock and Tim Pender of Dalton, Georgia; sister-in-law, Melbahu Ross-Blalock of Atlanta, Georgia; three grandchildren, Woodrow Wilson Blalock, III, Raquel Mingo, and Raven Blalock; three great great grandchildren, Elijah Blalock, Eniya Blalock, Xavion Blalock; aunts, Allene Watson, Adel Tibbs; uncle, Walter Watson; special daughter, Carletta Anderson; special cousin, Jerome (Martha Ann) Watson; a host of other loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Homegoing Service will be on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at 1:00 P. M. at the Chapel with Bishop Claud Jones as Eulogist. His remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Wednesday after 12:00 noon until the funeral hour on Thursday. Interment, West Hill Cemetery.
