Gerald Wilbanks, age 66 of Dalton, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2023 in CHI Fort Oglethorpe.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Ray and Maudine Davis Wilbanks; sister, Loma Gail Tarvin; brother, Rex Wilbanks; and niece, Becky Brooks.
He is survived by his wife, Lynn Wilbanks; son and daughter-in-law, Corey and Carrie Wilbanks; grandsons, Colin and Carson Wilbanks; daughters, Sasha (Kyle) Watson and Keri Dixon; mother-in-law, Geneva Campbell; brother, Jadder (Dot) Wilbanks; sister, Leonda (Cotton) Brooks; and special granddaughers, Sophie and Sadie McKeehan.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Gerald Wilbanks will be 11:00 am Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at Rocky Face Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Dixon officiating. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Monday, July 24, 2023 at Jones Funeral Home of Tunnel Hill.
