MR. WAYNE DeANDRE SALTERS - Age 35, of Chattanooga, TN unexpectedly passed from this life into eternity on Friday, December 31, 2021. Wayne was born in Detroit, MI on December 17, 1986. He is preceded by his father, Scott Louis Salters.

Wayne gave his life to Christ at an early age and attended Southfield Lathrup High School in Southfield, Michigan where he discovered his passion for football while playing on the varsity team. He received a scholarship to play football at Miles College in Alabama and there he fell in love with the University of Alabama Crimson Tide! His other passion in life was cooking which he developed from cooking at home with family and from his first job in high school, working at a restaurant. He was an extraordinary chef with over 18 years in the industry.

Wayne is survived by his mother, Myra Salters; Sister, Virginia Salters of Chattanooga, TN; Brother, Louis Salters (Brandi) of Fortson, GA; nieces, Tatiana Salters of Chattanooga, TN. and Lennox Salters of Fortson, GA; nephews, Braxton Salters of Fortson, GA and Harris Salters of Chattanooga, TN; and Pooh Salters (dog) of Chattanooga, TN; Grandmothers, Leone Nelson, of Dalton, GA and Mabel Salters of Kalamazoo, MI; Aunt and Uncle, Stacy and John Jackson of Kalamazoo, MI; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Celebration of Life Service will be on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 1:00 P. M. at the Willis Funeral Home Chapel, 2011 Martin L. King, Jr. Blvd., Dalton, Georgia 30721 with Pastor Tim Chaney as Eulogist. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday after 11:00 A. M. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, from 12:00 to 1:00 P. M. Interment, West Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
