Tunnel Hill, Georgia - Wayne Douglas Ray, age 81 of Tunnel Hill, passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2021 in Hamilton Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Will and Lillie Mae Ray; son, Billy Dewayne Ray; four brothers and three sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Ray; son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Angela Ray; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Ken Dorsey; ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Doug Ray will be 12:00 pm Friday, September 17, 2021 from the Chapel of Jones Funeral Home of Tunnel Hill with Brother Roy Gentry, Jr. and Terry Ray officiating. Burial will be in Dogwood Valley Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm Friday, September 17, 2021.
Masks must be properly worn and social distancing practiced when visiting the funeral home.
