Decatur, GA - Vivian Orr Cameron, age 92, of Decatur, GA passed away peacefully on September 27, 2025. She was originally from Dalton, GA, and was preceded in death by her husband Neil S. Cameron, Jr., her parents Luther S. Orr, Sr and Flossie M. Orr (née Roach), and brother L.S. Orr, Jr, all of Dalton, GA. She is survived by her children Gerald Cameron of Alexandria, VA and Sherri Cameron of Decatur, and nephews Richard Orr (Karen) of Atlanta and Mark Orr (Laura) of Dalton, as well multiple cousins. A graduate of Lagrange College, Vivian taught elementary students in public and Sunday schools for over 20 years, traveled the US and the world extensively, and thoroughly enjoyed entertaining and baking for others at home, researching family history, and undertaking arts and crafts projects, especially sewing & quilting. Services will be held at Briarlake Baptist Church on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens, 3000 Lawrenceville Hwy, Tucker, GA. The family will receive visitors on Monday, October 6, 2025 from 5-7 p.m. at A.S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home, 2773 N. Decatur Rd.
