MINISTER TIMOTHY ROOSEVELT THOMAS- Age, 61 of Cohutta, GA passed away Saturday, February 13, 2021. He was born February 1, 1960 to the late Reverend W.R. Thomas and Mrs. Ida Marie Thomas. He was a minister of Community Fellowship Church of Ministries. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Bishop Eddie J. Thomas, Sr., sister, Dr. W Marie Thomas, and niece, Tabitha R. Thomas, mother-in-law, Erma Gilbert, and brother-in-law, Trammell Kelly.

He is survived by his loving family, wife of 21 years Vickie Thomas; sons, Davis J. "DJ" Griffin and Terrance (Nicole) Kelly; daughter, LaKimberly (George) Jones; grandchildren, Elexus Kelly, Devin Bell, Jr., Terrae Kelly, Akira Jones, Kelylah Jones, Mia Kelly, and Avia Kelly; sister, Elizabeth Kaye Thomas (Robert Reid); brothers, Bishop Stephen A. (Dana) Thomas and Pastor David (Aretha) Thomas; sisters-in-law, Dr. Cindy Thomas, Kathy (John) Sligh, Stephanie Kelly, and Leslie (John) Wilhite; brothers-in-law, Gary Kelly, Jeffery (Shelley) Kelly, and Todd (Pearline) Kelly; special friends the Griffin Family, Tim Tabors and Richard "Pockets" (Sheila) Peabody; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Following the guidelines of COVID-19, the family is enforcing that all attendees wear a mask and practice social distancing.

Homegoing Service will be Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 12:00 P.M. at the Chapel of Willis Funeral Home with Pastor David Thomas as Eulogist. This man of honor will lie in repose at Community Fellowship Church of Ministries, 409 Fredrick St, Dalton, GA 30721, on Friday, February 19, 2021 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
