Stephen Paul Cantrell, age 79, of Rocky Face passed away Saturday, October 30, 2021, at Hamilton Medical Center. He is preceded in death by his parents F.J. and Lydia Jones Cantrell and brother Jerry Cantrell.
Stephen grew up in Tunnel Hill and graduated from Westside High School. He owned and operated Autobody Supply Company for 26 years.
Stephen is survived by his wife of 60 years Sandra McArthur Cantrell; sons and daughters-in-law, Douglas and Teresa Cantrell of Rocky Face, Sean and Kerri Cantrell of Fayetteville, NC, and Woody and Zoe Cantrell of Dalton; grandchildren Jonathan Cantrell, Sarah (Michael) Neal, Aaron Cantrell, Avery (Shea) Cantrell, Katie (Cody) Hayes; great-grandchildren Kennedy, Caden, and Clarke Hayes, Olivia Cantrell, and Layton, Kenley, and Sydnie Cantrell.; sisters and brother, Julia Ann Davidson, Karen (Richard) Hawkins, and Greg Cantrell, sister-in-law, Carolyn Lewallen, and nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Due to covid concerns, there will be a private family service at Jones Funeral Home in Tunnell Hill. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to Dunnagan Church, 424 Lafayette Rd, Rocky Face, GA 30740.
