Mr. Sotero "Chico" Ramirez Rodriguez, age 92, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life

on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at Hamilton Medical Center. He was born April 22, 1932

in San Luis Potosi Mexico. A son of the late Torivo Rameriz and Eginia Rodriguez.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Flora Bell Dutton Whitmire Ramirez, his

children Daniel and Maria Elena, several siblings.

He was a resident at Quinton Memorial Health Care. Chico enjoyed going to Big D's

Flea Market and The Red Barn Flea Market handing out brochures and tracts to

everyone. He enjoyed helping out at the nursing home when he was able and visiting

the residents. Over the years he was employed at Presley TV, Lee Printing,

Cherokee Carpet and Dalton Print Shop.

He is survived by his children, Sotero, Israel, Rebecca; grandson Seth and many

other grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Also, his special

friend Juan, and special friends at Dalton Print Shop and at Quinton Memorial Health

Care. We extend a special thank you to the staff at Quinton Memorial Health Care for

taking such good care of Chico over the past few years.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Sotero "Chico" Ramirez Rodriguez will be held

Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. from the Ponders Whitfield Memorial

Gardens Mausoleum Committal Shelter with Pastor Mark Seay officiating.
