Sherrell Ann "Thompson" Kelly, age 75, of Dalton, GA passed away on Friday, September 1, 2023. She was born on December 16, 1947. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward R. Thompson and Magnolia B. "Wilkes" Thompson.

She is survived by her brothers, Gerald Thompson and wife Lane, Earl Thompson, Ronnie and wife Diane, Bill Stone and wife Hazel; nephews and nieces, Stephanie Stepp, Sam and Lily Stepp, Melanie and Curt Hammontree, Rhett and Blake Hammontree, Chad and Jo Beth Thompson, Libba and Mary Lois Thompson, Tommy and Jamie Thompson, Ashley and Todd Gerrez, Tyler and Kelsey Thompson, Casey and Mark Hall, Bruce Stone, Renee Robertson; great nephews and nieces, Ryker, Milan, Zade, Aidan and Mason along with several more nieces and nephews.

A special thank you to Sara Hammontree and all the helpful people from Amedisys Hospice, especially nurse Kelly, Stephanie and all who helped with Sherrell in her time of need.

A service for Sherrell Ann "Thompson" Kelly will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, in the Chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Lawrence Wagnon officiating. Family will be receiving friends for visitation Wednesday September 6, 2023 from 1:00 PM till 3:00 PM.
