Dalton, GA - Sharon Elaine Boring, age 79, of Dalton, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, December 27, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Harriett Day; and brother, Rev. Ron Day.

Sharon is survived her husband, David Boring; daughter and son-in-law, Faye and Dana Yother; son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Angie Boring; sisters and brothers-in-law, Benita and Brian Moody, and Doris and Ronnie Thompson; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jess and Ginger Day, Sam and Brenda Day, Howard and Mary Day; grandchildren, Devin Boring, Casey Carr, and Kayla (Cory) Spence; nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends also survive.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, from 11:00AM until 1:00PM.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00PM on December 31, 2025, at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Pastor Adam Warren officiating. Burial will follow at United Memorial Gardens.
