Dalton, Georgia - Roxey Ann Goodson Cantrell,

Mrs. Roxey Ann Goodson Cantrell, age 65, of Dalton, Georgia departed this life Monday March 16, 2026, at her residence. She was born July 30, 1960, in Dalton, Georgia, a daughter of the late Juluis B Goodson and Roseann Manning Goodson. She was also preceded in death by her husband Steve Cantrell, her son Hugh Cantrell, her brother Gerald Goodson, and brother-in-law Tommy Garrison.

She is survived by sons Rory Cantrell and Lee Cantrell, grandchildren Noah Sol Cantrell, Reed Ellis Cantrell, and Astrid Sya Cantrell and brother; Randy Goodson and sisters Charlotte Goodson Garrison and Cindy Goodson Massengill and sister-in-law Sharon Goodson and brother-in-law Steven Massengill, nieces and nephews; Nikki Lee Hope, Roseann Hope Page, Wendy Whaley Curtis, and Dylan Massengill, and her great nieces and nephews; Chelsey Burkett Murray, Ethan Burkett, Brittany Schlapa, Heather Holcomb, Chris Garrison, and Donny Garrison, and the Baggetts, who were her family if not by blood; Clark, Christian, Levi, Austin, Reese, and Kaitlyn, and her best friend Crystal.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Roxey Ann Goodson Cantrell will be held Saturday March 28 at 3:00 with Pastor Nathaniel Oregon officiating at the Dalton Seventh-day Adventist church, 300 S Tibbs Rd. Dalton Georgia, 30720.
