Tunnel Hill, GA - Ronald Horne, age 88, of Tunnel Hill, GA, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at his home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Bertha Arnold Horne; mother and father-in-law, Jim and Millie Ward Clark; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe and Laura Horne, J.C. and Faye Horne, Clifford and Verna Horne; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mattie and Ralph Humphries, Frances and E.G. Haygood, Laverne Templeton; brother-in-law and sister-in law, Sonny and Nancy Clark, W.H. (Dub) Clark, Ray Clark; sister- in- law and brothers- in- law, Doris (Dot) and Robert Motley, Lois and Frank Morris.

Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Shirley Horne; son, Monty Horne of Tunnel Hill; daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Michael Shahan of Rocky Face; brother-in-law, Fred Templeton of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Zac Shahan, Maci (Aaron) Gaddis, Matt (Savanna) Horne; great grandchildren, Zeklan Shahan, James Gaddis; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Juanita and Elroy Motley, Terri and Robin Cooper, Barbara Clark, Linda Clark. Many wonderful nieces and nephews, friends and loved ones also survive.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at 1:00 PM at the Rocky Face Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Tyson Griffin officiating and a eulogy by Junior Clark.

The family will receive friends at the Rocky Face Chapel on Saturday, July 27, 2024, from 11:00 am until the funeral hour at 1:00 PM.

Burial will be in Gordy Memorial Cemetery.
