Pensacola, Florida - Ronald Brent Fauscette, 79, passed away peacefully at his son's home in Pensacola, Florida on

April 27, 2026.

Born on April 23, 1947, in Cleveland, Tennessee, Ron was the kind of man who built things — not

just with his hands, but with his life. A proud graduate of North Whitfield High School, class of

1965, he went on to become a skilled union carpenter out of Hall 74. His work touched some of the

region's most recognizable landmarks, including the Ocoee Flume. He took immense pride in his

craft and the projects he helped bring to life.

Ron had a deep love for fishing and woodworking — always creating something, whether it was a

piece of furniture, a repair for a neighbor, or a gift for someone he loved. But above all else, it was

his family that brought him the greatest joy. He lived to see his kids smile, and he never missed a

chance to remind them of his favorite philosophy:

"Sit back and enjoy the ride."

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mildred and JT Fauscette of Cohutta, Georgia; his

son-in-law, Eddie Brooker; and his brother-in-law, Paul Fergason.

He is survived by his children: Tanya Brooker, Jennifer Fauscette and Sterling Smith, Teresa and

Rodney Vice, and Ryan Fauscette and Kateryna Ivashchuk; his grandsons, Blake Brooker and Ben

Brooker; his sister, Carmen Fergason; a nephew, a niece; and several cousins who will all miss him

dearly.

In keeping with his wishes, Ron will be cremated. Visitation will be held June 20th from 1:00 PM

till 2:00 PM at Cohutta First Baptist Church with the funeral service following immediately after.

were special to Ron's heart: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis,
