Robert L. 'Bob' May
Mr. Robert L. 'Bob' May, 88, of Dalton, died Monday, July 9, 2007, at his residence.
He was a member of the Dalton First Baptist Church and was a member of the Dalton Elks Lodge.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Nelle Calhoun May of Dalton; son, Robert Lewis May Jr. of Calhoun; daughter, Lisa Douglas of Dalton; brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Ann May of Claxton; grandson, John Michael Douglas of Atlanta; and nieces and nephews.
Services are today at 11 a.m. at the Dalton First Baptist Church with the Rev. Phillip Cannon and the Dr. Billy Nimmons officiating.
Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family received friends at the Love Funeral Home Tuesday.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to the First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 827, Dalton, Georgia 30722-0827.
