Ricky "Todd" Ervin, age 48, of Dalton, Ga passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025. He was born September 8, 1976.

Todd was a man of passion, dedication, and heart. He lived life in the fast lane, whether he was out on the water with a fishing rod in hand, cheering on his beloved Georgia Bulldogs, or leading the way as the crew chief for Cochran Boys Racing.

Beyond his passions, Todd was a loyal friend and a man who never hesitated to lend a helping hand. Whether it was a day at the track, a Saturday football game, or a quiet moment by the water, he made memories that will last a lifetime.

He is survived by his loving wife, Bridgett Taylor Ervin; parents, Ricky Ervin and Pat Cochran Sneed; step-father, Michael Sneed; grandmother, Flossy Dale; step-son, Tyler Gadd (Sheyanne); daughters, Kailyn Nacco (David), Kourtney Ervin (Mandzo), Kaitey Hooper (Cody), Katie Brownlow; step-daughter, Haley McClure; brother, Corey Cochran (Crystal), step-brothers, Ryan Sneed, Jason Sneed, Matt Ledford (Megan); sisters, Sabrina Ervin, Kim Woolsey (Nolan); grandchildren, Bella Mandzo, Lilah Mandzo, Sania Mandzo, Malachi Hooper, Isaac Hooper, Leah Hooper, Bryson Brownlow, Cade Brownlow, Calvin Gadd, Theodore Gadd, Easton Nacco, Everett Nacco; several nieces and nephews; best friends, Herbie Smith, Jayme Westmoreland, Nate Green, David Clay, Jason Talkington.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mr. Ricky "Todd" Ervin will be held at 7:00 pm on Monday, February 3, 2025 at the Chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Corey Cochran officiating.

The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Monday, February 3, 2025 at Dalton Funeral Home. Donations can be made to Dalton Funeral Home. The family request that you wear Georgia Bulldogs attire.
