Mrs. Rhonda Gale (Hammontree) Patterson, born August 18, 1952, age 72 of Crandall, GA, took her heavenly flight to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Saturday evening October 12, 2024.

Mrs. Patterson is proceeded in death by her parents, Alvish and Vesta (Sluder) Hammontree, Brother and Sister-in-law Rev. Jerry and Carolyn Hammontree, Sister Elieen Lawson and two infant brothers James Larry and Earl Travis Hammontree.

Survivors include her loving husband of 53 years, Grady Patterson of Crandall, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Toyna Patterson of Summer Shade, KY, Cameron and Jamie Patterson of Crandall, GA. Grandchildren; Bridget Patterson of Summer Shade, KY, Michaela and Andy Morrison of Glasgow, KY, Alyssa Patterson of Glasgow, KY, Sunny Warren of Crandall, GA and Gracie Patterson of Crandall, GA, Chase Koger of Summer Shade, KY, Dawson Koger of Summer Shade, KY. Great Grandchildren; Dax Stout, Maelyn, and Malora Morrison all of KY. Brother-in-law Evan Lawson of Dalton, GA. Nieces and Nephews also survive.

Rhonda was a member of Grace Baptist Church of the Dawnville Community in Dalton, GA. She, along with her husband Grady, were part of the founding families to follow God's will and form Grace Baptist Church in 1972. They have remained loyal and active members to their home church. With her love for her Lord, church, and others, she has served as the church's first pianist, later organist, and in most recent years, she has loved being one of the bass guitarists. Over the many years, she has also served as a Sunday school teacher, and has helped with the Christmas Programs, VBS and youth choir. She was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandma, Auntie, Sister, and Friend. Her family and friends will miss her dearly. Being born and raised in Georgia has not stopped her from being a huge TN VOLS football fan.

Funeral services to celebrate the life and home going of Rhonda Patterson will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Baptist Church located at 2049 Lower Kings Bridge Road in Dalton, GA and burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
