MR. REX MORGAN COCHRAN - Age 70, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Thursday, June 27, 2024. He was born August 29, 1953 to his parents; mother, Elsie Mae Smith Cochran and the late father, Ray L. Cochran. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Lylii Joye Cochran; brother, Lynn Smith Cochran; and brother-in-law, Robert Waters.

Rex received his education from Westside High School. He was of the Baptist Faith. He was employed as a Truck Driver for many years until his health declined. He enjoyed watching and attending motorcycle and car races, wrestling, and spending time with his family and pets.

He is survived his daughters, Kerri Michelle Earwood and Angela Kaye (Gary) Wyatt; son, Alex Cochran; five grandchildren, Nathan Earwood, Adam Wyatt, Scotty Earwood, Austin Wyatt, and Emily Thomas; four great grandchildren, Jameson Wyatt, Dalton Thomas, Oakleigh Thomas, and McKinlee Wyatt; mother, Elsie Mae Smith Cochran; siblings, Kathy Waters, Janice (Raymond) Horne, and Susie (Tim) Holcomb; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Per his request, there will be no public services and his wishes were to be remembered as he was. Arrangements entrusted to Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
