Phillip Franks Obituary

Phillip Franks, 70, of Tunnel Hill, went home to be with his Lord Monday, Nov. 7, 2016, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ott and Pauline Franks; sister, Annette Franks; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, R.E. and Georgia Lee Putnam.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Carolyn Franks; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Lynn Franks and Michael and Angie Franks; daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis and Travis Bowen; brothers and sisters, Bill (Etta Mae) Franks, Helen (David) Green, Elizabeth Franks, Wanda Franks, Lourine Franks and Martha Franks; grandchildren, Jake (Hannah) Franks, Brittany Bowen, Blake (Morgan) Bowen, Derek Franks and Courtney Franks; great-grandchildren, Kaylee Franks and Waylon Franks; brothers-in-law, Bradley (Carole) Putnam and Raymond Putnam; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Phillips Franks will be 1 p.m. Thursday from the chapel of Jones Funeral Home of Tunnel Hill with the Rev. Keely Hasty and the Rev. Dewey E. Boyd officiating. Burial will be in Tunnel Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 9 p.m. today.
