Rocky Face, Georgia - Pauline Hair, age 96, of Rocky Face, entered the Gates of

Heaven Sunday, August 10, 2025, at her home.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Earl Hair;

her parents, Floyd and Mary Bell Self; her son, David Hair Sr.;

grandson, David Hair Jr.; brother, Cecil Self; and sister, Edna Mae

Ware.

Pauline owned her own business. She was a Girl Scout Leader

for seven years, was an avid crafter of all genres and a huge fan of the

Georgia Bulldogs.

She is survived by daughters and son-in-law, Paulette Smith of

Rocky Face, and Kim and Michael Poole of Tybee Island; daughter-

in-law, Linda Hair of Dalton; sisters, Barbara Massey, Doris

Chastain, and Linda Favors; grandchildren, Bethany Poole (Matthew

Gamble), Bryan Bass, Leigh Anne Bass (Paul Vogler), Geoff Bass,

Doug Hair, Patty Pellom, and Tommy Neil (Trina Neil); twelve great

grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren; nieces and nephews

also survive.

A funeral service will be held at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of

Julian Peeples Funeral Home on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at 4:00

PM with Rev. Mike Mahoney officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on

Wednesday, August 13, 2025, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Burial

will follow at West Hill Cemetery.
