Chatsworth, Georgia - Myrline "Faye" Brindle, age 73, of Chatsworth, Georgia, passed away peacefully at her home on September 27, 2025. Born on November 16, 1951, in Ellijay, Georgia, Faye lived in Chatsworth most of her life. She was a beloved wife, mother, aussie (grandmother), and friend whose warmth, humility, and bold strength touched everyone she met. Deeply devoted to her children, grandchildren, family, and friends, Faye lived a life of service, grace, and passion. She retired from Dalton Public Schools, where she worked for many years in the cafeteria, earning the respect and affection of students and coworkers alike. Faye spent many years volunteering for schools and working alongside her daughter at the racetracks. Faye made a difference in the everyday lives of those around her. Faye was preceded in death by her mother, Marie Carroll Cromer, and her sister, Beverly Grant. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Leon Brindle; her children, Chip (Rachel) Brindle, Annie (Jake) Brindle, Mike (Angela) Brindle, and Teddy Brindle; and her cherished grandchildren and reason for living, Hendrix, Hayez, and Brynlee. She also leaves behind a host of extended family and close friends who will miss her dearly. Faye found joy and friendship among her beloved "Book Club girls" and was deeply connected to her "Sisters in Christ," Annette Reece, Linda Locke and Jennie Watson. Her family is especially grateful for the love and care provided by Hazel Harkins, her devoted caretaker and friend.

Pallbearers will be Hilton Brindle, Shane Brindle, McKay Brindle, Jug Smith, Kelly Williams, Tony Brindle, and Eric Newton.

The family will welcome friends and family from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday, September 29th, 2025, at Shawn Chapman Funeral Home. The funeral will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, In the Chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home in Chatsworth, Georgia. Interment will be at New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery in Chatsworth, Georgia, immediately following the service.
