Michael "Mike" David Wilson, age 68, of Dalton, GA passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family and special friends Ricardo and Martha who have supported the family during this difficult time on Tuesday, October 15, 2024. He was born January 21, 1956. He was preceded in death by his parents, John W. and Patsy Raper Wilson; brother, Rob Wilson; grandparents, Clifford and Pearl Wison, Bill and Pearl Raper

He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Linda Gail Cooper Wilson; son, Michael Shane Wison of Dalton; sister, Debra Hicks (Ricky); sister-in-law, Jennifer Boswell; aunt, Linda Risner of Dalton, Peggy Crisp (Gary) of Atlanta and several nieces and nephews.

Mike will be remembered as a wonderful husband and a cherished friend. He dedicated 36 years of his life to Dalton Foam, retiring in May 2024, and prior to that, he spent 20 years in the family construction business. Mike fought a brave battle until the end, showing incredible strength and resilience.

His love for the outdoors was matched only by his great sense of humor, which brought joy to everyone around him. Mike's warm spirit and ability to connect with others made him someone people loved to be around. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew him.
