Chatsworth, GA - Michael Dwayne Ridley, age 66, of Chatsworth, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.

Michael was a devoted son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He attended CrossPointe in Dalton and found great joy in cycling with his granddaughters and friends, as well as spending meaningful time with his family. His presence was steady, kind, and filled with quiet strength—leaving an imprint on all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Ridley Jr., and his mother, Pauline Ridley.

Michael's memory will be cherished by his sons and daughters-in-law, Chad and Miranda Ridley of Chatsworth, along with their children, Taylor, Kayt, and Tynlee, and Seth and Alicia Ridley of Chatsworth, along with their daughter Makynlee Hucks.

He is also survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Tommy and Teresa Ridley, Doug and Carla Ridley, and his sister, Diane Foster, all of Chatsworth. His nieces and nephews, Cindy Turner and family of Rincon, Georgia, Aaron Ridley and family, Tyler Ridley and family, and Eric Foster, all of Chatsworth, will remember him with love.

Michael will be deeply missed but forever remembered for the life he lived and the love he shared. His family takes comfort in knowing that his legacy continues in the generations who follow, and that they will one day be reunited again in Heaven.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Michael Dwayne Ridley will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Mr. Nick Ross officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, August 22, 2025 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
