MS. MERCEDES CIERRA HARDAWAY - Age 30, of Dalton, GA passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2021. She was born July 23, 1991. She was preceded by her brother, Andre' Rashad Johnson. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.


She left to honor and cherish her memories her loving children, Kinslee Dreonna Stokes, Brooklyn Faith Watson, and Maverick Rashad Hardaway; loving parents, Barbara Hardaway, Greg Ward, Beth Dunsmore (friend, Randall Jackson); sisters, Brittany (Joshua) Timmons, Tamara (Edwin) Hernandez, Kayla Mathis, grandmother, Ruth Newton; nieces, nephews; aunts, Sarah Kate Lee, Betty Jean Slack, Alma (Ervin) Moody, Jerri Sue Gauntt, Deborah Cash, Elsie (Minister Fred) Johnson, Patricia Taylor, Audra Jones; uncles, Jamie Dunsmore, Aaron Dunsmore, Tim Ward, David Ward, Henry Ward; cousins; special adult friends, Andy and Karla Lowe, other relatives and friends.


Funeral Service will be Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 12:00 Noon at Shiloh Baptist Church, 2014 Martin L. King, Jr., Blvd. Dalton, Georgia 30721, with Pastor Edward Hoggs as Eulogist, and Rev. Chris Bonds as Presider. Her remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Friday after 11:00 A. M. until the funeral hour. Interment, West Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
