Dalton, GA - Margaret Cline, age 79, of Dalton, passed away Sunday,

August 4, 2024, at her home.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Mattie Campbell; sisters, Jean Stokes and Melvena Morehead; brother, Oscar Campbell; son-in-law, Randy Potts.

She was an employee at Textile Management Associates for 44 years and was Shelby Peeples' personal assistant. She loved watching her grandsons play baseball and spending time at the lake.

She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Ernest Cline; son, Jonathan Cline of Dalton; daughter and her fiancé, Cynthia Potts and Jon Cochran of Dalton; grandchildren, Brandon (Kelsi) Potts, Brett Potts; great-grandchildren, Emerie Potts; nieces and nephews also survive.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Hill City Baptist Church with Rev. Barry Brock officiating.

Burial will be at Hill City Baptist Church Cemetery with Brett Potts, Brandon Potts, Jonathan Cline, Jon Cochran, Brian Bailey, and Hunter Bailey serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Julian Peeples Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions can be made to Hill City Baptist Church.
