Lula  Cochran
Lula May Cochran, age 89, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Saturday, January 25, 2020. She was born on March 6, 1930. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arvil S. Cochran; parents, Paul and Elva Newton; brothers, Clyde B. Newton, Edward L. Newton, and Loyd Newton.
She is survived by her sons, Curtis D. Cochran (Phyllis) of Chatsworth, GA and Anthony A. Cochran (Yvette) of Resaca, GA; brothers, Ralph P. Newton of Chatsworth, GA and W.L. Newton (Margaret) of Armuchee, GA; sister, Betty J. Hammontree Green (Roy Green) of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Joey Cochran, Alex Cochran, Kelan Cochran, Seth Cochran, Melody Cochran, and Jonathan Cochran; great grandchildren, Ty Cochran, Mia Cochran, Leo Cochran, Braydon Cochran, Ava Mae Cochran and Levi Cochran
A funeral service to celebrate the life of Lula May Cochran will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at the Chapel of Dalton Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 11:00 AM Tuesday until the time of the service. Arrangements have been entrusted to independently owned and operated Dalton Funeral Home, 620 S. Glenwood Ave. Dalton, GA 30721; 706-529-5371.
