Rossville, Georgia - Lisa Renee Grant Adams, 58, of Rossville, Georgia, passed away Friday, June 20, 2025. She was

born in Tullahoma, Tennessee, on September 30th, 1966. She graduated from Lakeview High

School, Class of 1984.

Lisa was of the Christian faith and served on several Praise and Worship teams in local churches.

She was an office manager at The Dalton Daily Citizen for twenty-eight years.

Lisa enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, the beach, and kayaking. She was known for her interior

decorating skills and had a knack for making a house a home, but most of all, she enjoyed

spending quality time with those she loved.

She was the kind of mother every child hopes for-funny, nurturing, and full of love. She made

sure her children knew they were everything to her, showing it daily through steady devotion,

selflessness, and laughter. To her children, she wasn't just a mom-she was home. Her warmth,

humor, and selflessness left a lasting imprint on everyone who knew her.

She was also deeply devoted to her husband of forty years, John Eric Adams. Their quiet,

unshakable bond was built on laughter and a love that carried them through life's highs and lows.

She was his best friend and his constant-his safe place, just as he was hers.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Blaine Steven Grant; and sister-in-law, Laura Ellen

Grant.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of forty years, John Eric Adams; parents,

Clinton and Kay Grant; son, Joseph Eric Adams; daughter, Rachel Brittany Adams and her

partner, Brad Wilson; daughter and son-in-law, Sarah Kathryn and Tyler Good; brother and

sister-in-law, Michael Dean and Kelly Grant; sister-in-law, Ginny Grant; niece, Laura Faith

Grant; and several other extended family members and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, in the South Crest

Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory.

The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM Wednesday prior to the service.

Interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens East, Chattanooga, Tennessee.
