Dalton, GA - Linda Hefner of Dalton, GA, passed away, Tuesday, March 18, 2025, surrounded by family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Thad Hefner; parents, Horace and Louise Fincher; and brother, Ed Fincher.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Anthony and Linda Hunter; daughter, Tammy Hunter; grandchildren, Katie Burns, Jennifer Hunter, and Matt Hunter; great-grandchildren, Emma Burns and Mason Hunter; sisters, Charlotte (Gerald) Davis, and Betty Hicks; step-children, Dwight (Sandra) Hefner, Greg (Sandra) Hefner, and Pam Hefner; step-grandchildren, Shane (Stephanie) Belcher, Tiffany Teasley, Courtney (Zac) Brock, Alex (Meagan) Hefner, and Alison Hefner; nieces and nephews also survive.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025, at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home at 1:00 PM with Rev. Billy Willis officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, March 21, from 11:00 AM until the service hour of 1:00 PM.
Burial will follow at Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
