MRS. LILLIE MAE MOORE BONDS- AGE 81, Dalton, Georgia transitioned peacefully on Wednesday, August 7, 2024. She was born on March 17, 1943 in Chatsworth, Georgia to the late Lonnie Moore and Dollie Ann Taylor Moore. She was a Deaconess at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, retired from Shaw Industries as a Customer Service Representative, and a graduate of Emery Street School. Mrs. Bonds was preceded by her sisters, Annie Ruth O'Neal, Melinda Jackson, and Ethel Betton.
Survivors are her loving and devoted husband of sixty-three years, Raymond Bonds; two sons born to their union, Ronald "Ronnie" Bonds, and William "Tim" Bonds all of Dalton, Georgia; three grandchildren, Jennifer (Corey) Kinnebrew of Rome, Georgia; Andrew (Terri) Bonds, and Tré Bonds of Dalton; great grandchildren, J'lea Purdie, Tyson Purdie, Jasmine Smith, Silas Bonds, J'nae Kinnebrew, and Kainen Bonds; three great great grandchildren, Kobe, Myla, Milly; sisters, Sarah (Allen) Andrews, Shirley (Jerry) Willis, and Mary (Charles) Avery; sisters-in-law, Jimmie Lou Luckey, and Valerie Ramsey; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends, and her church family.
Homegoing Celebration will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 2:00 P. M. at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 2014 Martin L. King, Jr. Blvd., Dalton, GA 30721 with Pastor Edward Hoggs and other Ministers officiating. Her remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Friday after 12:00 noon. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 7:00 - 8:00 P. M. Interment, West Hill Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
