Dalton, GA - With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Laura Loutrelle Lyle. Loutrelle left us on Friday, January 23, 2026 to be with her Lord, leaving a void that can never be filled.

With Loutrelle's departure, we remember a life lived with immense love and a constant sense of caring. She touched the lives of everyone who had the honor of knowing her. Her selflessness, warmth, and generous spirit will be remembered forever. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and compassion that lives on in all of us.

Loutrelle was born in Dalton, Georgia, on November 7, 1948, the daughter of Glynn and Margaret Taylor. She married Gregrey Lamar Lyle on March 15, 1968. Having met and dated while in high school, she will forever remain the love of his life. She started working in the carpet industry in 1965 at ON Jonas Company. Later in 1981, along with her husband, founded Lyle Industries, Inc., a manufacturer of specialty automotive and transport carpeting. Through her involvement with First United Methodist Church and with many civic affiliations, Loutrelle formed strong relationships throughout her life.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Glynn and Margaret Taylor.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Gregrey Lamar Lyle, her brother-in-law and sister-in law, Steve and Vivian Lyle and countless other treasured relatives and special friends.

Loutrelle devoted her life to serving her Lord and being a loving wife and lifelong friend. Her charitable spirit and presence of grace guided her every step. She will be deeply missed.

We would like to thank the staff of Hamilton Medical Center for their excellent care and our dear friends and family for the multitude of prayers on her behalf.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
