John Thomas 'J.T.' Headrick

Mr. John Thomas "J.T" Headrick, 75, of Tennga, passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2007, at his residence.

J.T. was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Louise Ross Headrick; parents, Jack and Stella Headrick, a brother, Clifford Leon Headrick; and two grandsons, Chris Stennett and John David Sharp.

Survivors include his son, John Vestal Headrick of Bradley County, Tenn.; daughters, Phyllis Sharp of Collinsville, Ala., and Linda Wiley of Rossville; six grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Jean Woody of Polk County, Tenn., and Katherine Rosa Lee "Polly" Headrick Ballew Lanier of Westside; half-brothers, Jackie Lamar Headrick of Polk County, Michael Vestal Headrick of Tennga; a number of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.

Services were held Friday, June 8, at 3 p.m. at Tennga Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Moore, the Rev. Rickey Woody and the Rev. Randall Headrick officiating.

Burial was in the Tennga Cemetery.

Peeples Funeral Home of Chatsworth was in charge of the funeral arrangements.
