Dalton, Georgia - John Albert French, age 75, of Dalton passed away on April 27, 2022 at his residence surrounded by family.
John was born December 30, 1946 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Edmund Wesolowski and Margaret French. John was a veteran of the United States Navy. He served on the USS Lexington.
He enjoyed vintage automobiles and the cinema. After retiring from the transportation industry, John drove the downtown trolley for the Dalton Convention and Visitors Center, one of his most cherished endeavors.
Survivors include his wife of over 53 years, Brenda French, daughter and son-in-law, Veronica and Andy Rollins, daughter and son-in-law Yvonne French and Josh Kinman, son and daughter-in-law Zach and Kaila French, daughter Quincie French and grandchildren Zadie Tharp, Grey Babb, Nicholas Cheek, Xylee Tharp, Aspen French, Levi Babb, Carter French and Charlie Rollins.
A Celebration of Life service for John will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. at Willis Funeral Home, Dalton Georgia at 2011 Martin L. King Jr. Blvd.
