Johanna passed away after a brief illness. She has lived in Jacksonville, Florida for the pass four years with her sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Ed Holmes. She was a member of the Mandarin United Methodist Church. Johanna was a member of the UMW Friendship Circle, Quilters and Dinner Groups.

She survived by her sisters and brother-in-laws, Mary and Ed Holmes and Betty and Keith Jones. Her three children Molly Payne, Thomas Payne and Brooke Laney as well as third step-children Heather and Andrew Payne, and Richard Morrison. She had several nieces and nephews. Johanna was loved by several close friends and family. She will be missed by everyone who knew her. There will be celebration of life on January 20, 2018 at Tunnel Hill Methodist Fellowship Hall from 1-4.
