Most of you knew Jerry as "Bud" or, affectionately, as "Fafa." He could get along with most anyone, talk for hours, and had a smile that lit up the room. He was a long-distance truck driver for over 30 years then spent the rest of his career as a diesel mechanic. He loved driving and working on trucks. He also had a love for remodeling old vehicles, particularly painting them. Despite his many hobbies, his main passion was his two granddaughters. He raised his granddaughter, Ashley, and was very involved in her life, particularly with horses, barrel racing, traveling all over during high school rodeo with her, and any other shenanigans she would get him into. That did not change when his great-granddaughter, BentLee, was born; he continued to be very involved in her love of horses, traveling to horse shows, barrel races and rodeos with her - taking her to Texas, Oklahoma, and anywhere else she asked him to go. He spent many days of retirement taking BentLee and her friends to Starbucks, Chick-Fil-A, and anywhere else they wanted to go. He enjoyed assisting his wife at home and continuing to rebuild a classic truck with his son, Jamey.
