James A. 'J.A.' Reed Obituary
James A. 'J.A.' Reed
James A. "J.A." Reed, 85, of Tunnel Hill, died Thursday, Jan. 25, 2007 at Gordon Hospital in Calhoun.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Reed; son, Rick Reed; and grandson, Marion Scott Reed.
He is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Mickey Reed and Randy and Linda Reed of Tunnel Hill; sister, Jessie Quinn of Dalton; sisters and brothers-in-law, Faye and Wendall Jay of Athens and Jean and Bedford Blackburn of Cleveland, Tenn.; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services are today at 2 p.m. at Tunnel Hill United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mike Shearon officiating.
Burial will be in Tunnel Hill Cemetery.
The family received friends at the funeral home Friday.
Jones Funeral Home of Tunnel Hill is in charge of arrangements.
