Resaca, GA - Mr. James Harrell Rogers, age 80, of Resaca, GA, passed away on January 11, 2026, at Hamilton Medical Center.

James was a member of Casey Springs Community Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Luella Rogers; grandparents, Chess & Emma Hall; brother, Tommy Rogers; and his wife, Nellie Mae Rogers.

Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Clark and Mary Anne Rogers of Resaca, GA, John and Ann Rogers of Douglasville, GA, and Clinton and Leigh Kennett of Calhoun, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Bobby McFry; grandchildren, Abigail Iona Roger, Emma and Clayton Rice, and Mason and Wayln Kennett; great-grandchild, Kooper Rice; extended family also survives.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mr. James Harrell Rogers will be held Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at 11:00 am at Casey Springs Community Church with Rev. Kevan Carpenter officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
