MR. JAMES LAMAR BURSE - Age 78, of Erie, Pennsylvania and formerly of Dalton, GA passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2021. He was born March 5, 1943. He is preceded by his parents, Mamie Joe Johnson and Jack Burse, brothers, Joseph "Pimp" Burse, Charles "Molly" Burse, and sister, Wanda "Sista" Burse.
He is survived by his children, James Eric "Shad" Burse, Vincent Lamont "Bam" (Gail) Burse, and Gino Simolie Burse; grandchildren, Jermaine Burse, Samira Burse, Gabrielle Burse, Miles Edwards, Whitney Michelle Beck, and MaKayla (Kevin) Southerland; 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Wanda Bell and Bertha (Demetris) Tate; sister-in-law, Anna Lee Burse; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Memorial Service will be Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 12:00 Noon at Willis Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry L. Burse, Eulogist. Inurnment will take place at Fairground Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
