Mrs. Helen Marie Adamson Hannah Obituary
Lagrange, Georgia - Mrs. Helen Marie Adamson Hannah, age 89, of LaGrange, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2026.
Mrs. Hannah was born on April 25, 1937, in Randolph County, Alabama, to the late Henry Lane Adamson and Mozelle Hall Adamson. Helen was a woman of unwavering faith, quiet strength, and deep devotion to her family. She and her husband were faithful members of Sugar Valley Baptist Church in Calhoun, Georgia, where they built lasting friendships and lived out their Christian faith. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Helen dedicated many years as a stay-at-home mother, lovingly caring for her children and later cherishing every opportunity to spend time with her grandchildren. In her later years, she enjoyed a successful career in the banking industry in Dalton, Georgia, where she eventually retired. She found great joy in preparing meals for those she loved, tending to her garden, and creating a warm and welcoming home. Her gentle spirit, servant's heart, and steadfast love will be treasured and remembered by all who were blessed to know her.
She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Hannah Wilson and her husband, Terry; siblings, Edward Curtis Adamson and Toby Adamson Hornsby; grandchildren, Amanda Hannah Stafford (fiancé, James Caldwell), Zachary Adam Stafford (Sadler), Hannah Thompson Honeycutt (Josh), Madison Hunter-Thompson (Meredith), and Reagan Camille Thompson; great-grandchildren, Cortland Burris, Waylon Stafford, McKinley Honeycutt, Hadley Honeycutt, and Eleanor Hunter-Thompson; son-in-law, Dan Britt Thompson; sister-in-law, Doris Hannah Cassell; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
