Chatsworth, GA - Mrs. Gaye Lee Dunn, age 75, of Chatsworth, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Gaye was a member of Homeland Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her kids, grandkids, great-grandkids, and her sister, Noma Welch. Her hobbies included shopping, going out to eat, and deer hunting.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James "Butch" Dunn; her parents, Harrell and Minnie Lee; her brother, Eddie Lee; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Elvin and Neva Dunn; her sister-in-law, Deb McCurdy; and her brother-in-law, Lonnie Welch.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Jamie and Tesha Dunn of Tennga, GA and Michael and Tina Dunn of Ranger, GA; her daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Anthony Brown of Dalton, GA; brother and sisters-in-law, David and Brister Lee of Greenville, MS, and Linda Lee of Horseshoe Bay, TX; her sister, Noma Welch of Eton, GA; her grandchildren and their spouses, Jordan and Will Trosclair, Trevor and Raven Brown, Lindsey and Tielor Johnson, Madison Brown, Brock and Nicole Dunn, and Cody Dunn; her great-grandchildren, Georgia Johnson and JB Johnson; nieces, nephews, and her special friend, Joyce Silvers also survive.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Gaye Lee Dunn will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Homeland Baptist Church with Rev. Harold Poteet and Rev. Joel Jenkins officiating. Interment will follow at Eton Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, August 7, 2026, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be made to Homeland Baptist Church in memory of Gaye (472 Treadwell Rd, Chatsworth, GA 30705).
