Chatsworth, Georgia - The Lord called home this mountain beauty, Flossie Long Dale, age 86 of Dalton, to rest on February 2nd, 2026. She was born on February 1, 1940, in Blue Ridge, Georgia.
Flossie was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Harold Dale; her parents, Hazel Fox Long and Roy Blufford Long; her son, Perry Dale; and several siblings.
She is survived by her children: Ann (Dan) Findley, George (Tonya) Dale, Cecil Ervin, Mary Cline, Ricky Ervin, James Ervin, Gail (Gus) Waters, Franklin (Denise) Dale, Jeff (Wendy) Dale, Shane (Tina) Dale, and Marion Dale; sisters; Virginia (Trammell) Cleary and Jeleta (Edward) Baker; as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
A service to honor the life of Flossie Dale will be 11 A M on Friday, February 6, 2026, with Pastor Junior Williams officiating. The interment will be at Westhill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 5 PM.
