Dalton, Georgia - Elva Jane Baker Combs, age 94, of Dalton, GA, passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at Regency Park Health and Rehab.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cliff and Sarah Baker; husbands, Robert Combs Sr., Russell Robinson; son, Robert Combs Jr.; grandson, James Hanna; sisters, Geneva Ziegler, Dorcas Moore.

Elva was a member of Mount Vernon United Methodist Church.

She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Myra Hanna (Ronald) of Manchester, Tn.; son and daughter-in-law, Dan Combs (Donna) of Dalton, Ga.; six grandchildren; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends at the Rocky Face Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home on Saturday, August 1, 2025 from 11:30am until the funeral hour at 1:00pm.

The funeral service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2025, at 1:00pm at the Rocky Face Chapel with Rev. Dwight Henderson officiating.
