Dalton, Georgia - Eileen W. Scarbrough, age 90, of Dalton, GA. passed away peacefully on October 13, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.
Eileen was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and a lifelong member of the ZTA sorority.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Scarbrough of Dalton, GA.
She is survived by her sons, Bruce E. Scarbrough and Bahareh Sahami, of Walnut Creek, CA. William R. Scarbrough of Canton, GA, and Gary S. Scarbrough of Chatsworth, GA; daughter, Gwen Shankwiler, and Steve Thomas of Reno, NV.
A visitation to honor the life of Eileen Scarbrough will be from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at Shawn Chapman Funeral Home.
A Mass to follow on Friday, October 17, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. 968 Haig Mill Road Dalton, Ga 30720.with Father Arturo Merriman officiating.
