Mr. Douglas Michael Brooks, age 62 of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2024 at Advent Health Redmond.
He was preceded in death by his father, William "Bill" Brooks; grandmother, Evelyn Brooks; aunt, Linda Moore; uncles, Steve Brooks, Gail Whitener, and Bill Whitener; grandparents, and Humphry and Juanita Whitener.
Survivors include his significant other, Kim Vaughn Nance of Calhoun, GA; daughter, Amanda Brooks Rauch of Birchwood, TN; mother, Sandra Whitener Brooks of Chatsworth; aunt and uncles, June and Terry Cox and Bill Moore; lifelong friends, Ronnie Byrd and Billy Hudson; several cousins also survive.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. Douglas Michael Brooks will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Chuck Smith Officiating.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 from 3:30 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
