Dalton, Georgia - Doris Diane Mathis Kedrow, age 80, passed away at home with her family by her side on Monday December 29, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hertis and Annie Mathis, grandparents, Virgil and Minnie Mathis. Her precious grandson, Brett Andrew Thomason; sisters, Wanda Brown, Betty Jenson, Shirley Burkeen; brothers, Bobby Mathis and Randall Mathis.

She is survived by her daughter, Dana Kedrow Massey; granddaughter and her husband, Natashia and Josh Kernea; great-grandchildren, Emma and Luke Kernea; very special nephew Billy Mathis Jr; sisters, Carol Gassett, Martie Minnekes and Kay Goodwin; sister and brother-in-law (her favorite) Sandra and Bob Murie of Royal Oak, MI; brother and sister-in-law, Billy Mathis Sr. and Ann Mathis; also many nieces and nephews

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, January 1, 2026, from 10:00 am until the service hour at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Ronald Guffey officiating. Burial will follow the service at West Hill Cemetery.
