Coy  Sampson
Coy Sampson, age 76, of Dalton, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at Memorial Hospital.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Ann Lou Sampson; brothers, Ed and Lamar Sampson; and a sister, Barbara Hewitt.
Mr. Sampson was a family man and loved helping other people. He had a big heart and his greatest joy was his family.
He is survived by his daughters and son-in-law, Tina Sampson and Dave Wiley of Rocky Face, and Tammy and Chris Phifer of Cohutta; sons and daughter-in-law, Joseph Sampson of Dalton, and Shan and Kim Sampson of Ringgold; brother, Danny Sampson of Dalton; grandchildren, Kristy Kennedy, Levi (Kimber) Newby, Gavin (Molly) Sampson, Jerron Phifer, Brinley Sampson, and Walker Sampson; great grandchildren, McKayla, McKynli, and Jackson Bearden, and Reagan Sampson; special friends, Mike and Mary Cherry; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews also survive.
The funeral service will be held Monday, November 11, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Mitch Mahoney officiating and other family members giving eulogies.
Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tim Sampson, Gavin Sampson, Jackson Bearden, Levi Newby, Jerron Phifer, Rodney Vice, and Andy Hewitt.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, November 10, 2019 from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m.

Coy was a caring person who was a great man to know.
He always helped everyone in one way or another.
I will miss hem so much.
I know his children Joseph, Tina and Tammy the most.
We all have positive memories of Coy.
I offer great sympathy to the family and friends.
Remember Coy had a good live and had some great memories.
I will always have Fond memories and a smile on my face when I think
