MR. CHRISTOPHER DONYEL YOUNG - Age 47, of Dalton, GA passed away Monday, July 12, 2021. He was born August 20, 1973. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. He was formerly employed by Shaw Industries. He enjoyed grilling and watching drag races. He is preceded by his paternal grandparents, Edna Shropshire and James Young, maternal grandparents, Odell and Annie Ruth Moore O'Neal, uncle Craig O'Neal.

He is survived by his spouse, Kimberly Ann Shropshire Young of LaFayette, GA; son, Jeremy Shropshire; grandchildren Nickolas and Javen Shropshire of LaFayette, GA; mother, Myra (Murriel) Bradley of Dalton, GA; father, Lester Young of Rome, GA.; sisters, Kelly (Kenneth) Carson and Loni (Brandon) Carlton of Dalton, GA; nieces, Kyrah Jennings, Zamyhia and Zariah Bradley, and Bri'Audi Carlton; nephews, Zaire Bradley, Sahih "Short Man" Carlton all of Dalton, GA; mother-in-law; Judy Shropshire of LaFayette, GA; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral Service will be Friday, July 16, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at Shiloh Baptist Church, 2014 Martin L. King, Jr. Blvd, Dalton, GA 30721, Dr. Jerry D. Jones, Eulogist. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P. M. - 7:00 P. M. on Thursday at the funeral home. His remains will lie in state after 11:00 A. M. on Thursday at the funeral home.
