Charles Ronald Whaley, age 84 of Cohutta, passed away December 15, 2024.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Zell and Mildred Whaley, of Cohutta.
He is survived by his daughter, Terry Hartrich, and grandson Sterling Hartrich, of Smyrna, Ga., his sister and brother-in-law, Beverly and Max Crawford of Cohutta, and two nephews, Stephen Crawford and Jonathan Crawford, of Cohutta.
The funeral service will be held at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 12:00 PM with Rev. John Tudor officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, from 11:00 AM until the service hour of 12:00 PM.
Burial will follow later at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hopewell Baptist Church, 557 Hopewell Rd, Cohutta, GA 30710
