Cecil C. Miller, Jr. age 86, of Dalton passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2025.

He was the son of the late Cecil Miller Sr. and Estelle Miller and was also preceded in death by his siblings, Marion Miller, Sue Dyer, Jimmy Miller, Willie Miller, Larry Miller, Travis Miller, Steve Miller, Bobby Bailes, and Benny Miller.

Cecil was a third-generation brick mason. His craft allowed him to build many landmarks around town that leave a legacy even after his passing. Cecil was hard-working and spent most of his life providing for his family. He also had a love for gospel music.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy "Dot" Miller; sons, Randy Miller, Brian Miller (Tammy), and Todd Miller (Kim); grandchildren, Mark Miller (Jennifer), Drew Miller (Megan), Joshua Miller (Lydia), John Matthew Miller, and Ryan Miller; great-grandchildren, Grant Miller, Cole and Reid Miller, and Remington Coggins; siblings, Delano Miller (Frances), Patricia Beavers, Donna Parker (Nathan), and Norman Miller; special friends, Connie and Harold Simerly.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 PM on Friday at Welcome Hill Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 12 until 3 on Friday at Love Funeral Home. Burial will be in United Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
