Cecil (John) Lee Wilburn
Cecil (John) Lee Wilburn, age 66, of Chatsworth and formerly of Maryville, TN passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2019, at AdventHealth Gordon.

Mr. Wilburn was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church in Chatsworth.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jake Thomas Wilburn; mother, MaryAnn (Bledsoe) Wilburn; sisters, Polly Ann Huff and Vernetta Ruth (Kate) Hodge Turner; niece, Michelle Lee Hodge; brother-in-law, James Hodge; half-brother, Lowell Sherwood; and son-in-law, David (Alan) Brooks, Jr.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Carol (Stallard) Wilburn; stepdaughters and sons-in-law, Sabrina and Jamie Pepper of Ringgold and Regenia and Jeff Harris of Rossville; granddaughter, Bridgette Hope Pepper of Atlanta; brothers-in-law, Phillip Huff of Trion and Danny Turner of Rocky Face; sister-in-law, Joyce Sherwood of Dalton; half-siblings, William Sherwood and Ellen Sherwood - both of Maryville, TN; niece, Mary E. Huff of Trion; nephew, Scott Huff, Sr. of Trion; great nephew and his spouse, Scott, Jr. and Bree Huff of Sevierville, TN; great-niece, Jennifer Huff of Trion; first cousin, Barbara (McGill) Scott of Maryville, TN; multiple great-great-nieces and nephews of Trion and Sevierville; and many other cousins.

Funeral services for Mr. Wilburn will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 in the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Pastor Donald Young and Associate Pastor Vernon Reece officiating. Interment will follow in the Maranatha Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
