Dalton, Georgia - Mrs. Carol Annette Jordan, age 82, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away peacefully at her residence on Saturday, November 16, 2024.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Eula "Frances" Eaton and stepfather, Ed Eaton; along with one brother, Tommy Eaton.

Carol was born September 28, 1942. She was a long standing member of Fairview Methodist Church. To know Carol was to love her. She was regarded by all those she encountered as a kind hearted, caring soul, who was always willing to help anyone she could. Her smile could brighten the darkest room and she could bring a laugh to all those nearby. She was known for always putting her family first, and was a wonderfully devoted wife, sister, aunt, and cousin. She doted on the children of the family and never forgot a holiday or birthday. She was a true "spoiler" of them all!

When she took time for herself, she could be found attempting to solve a word puzzle, engrossed in a good book, or chatting and catching up with friends. She described her fondest memories as the times she and Lamar spent in her favorite place, the mountains. Her greatest pleasure was spending time and making memories with her family that she loved so much. Her legacy of love, strength, and compassion will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends, and all those who were fortunate to know her and share in her life's journey.

Carol is survived by her loving husband, Mr. Lamar Jordan, with whom she celebrated and cherished 58 years of marriage with. She is also survived by one sister, Cindy (Greg) Deverell of Dalton, Georgia; several nephews and one niece; extended family and friends.
