Bruce  Spearman
SFC (Ret.) Bruce Spearman, age 52, of Chatsworth, Georgia, has fought his last battle and departed this Earth for his last permanent duty station in heaven on Nov.24, 2019.
Bruce was preceded in death by his father, Harold Spearman; mother, Rhetta Andrews; sister, Rhonda Deal; brother, Carl Crawford; and sister-in-law, Teresa Cross Couch.
He is survived by his wife and caregiver, Trudy Liles Spearman of Chatsworth; son, Jordan Henderson of Vail, Colorado; mother-in-law, Charlotte Atkinson of Dalton; sister-in-law, Tammy and Rickey Bradley of Rocky Face; and special friend and nurse, Drew Johnson of Rome, GA.
Bruce served proudly and honorably in the United States Army for 21 years until his retirement. Bruce was awarded numerous medals and service ribbons during his service to his country.
His awards include Afghanistan Campaign Medal with Campaign Star, Meritorious Service Medal (4 awards), Army Commendation Medal (6 awards), Army Achievement Medal (6 awards), Army Superior Unit Award, Army Good Conduct Medal (6 awards), National Defense Service Medal (2 awards), Global War on Terrorism Service Medal (2 awards), Kosovo Campaign Medal, Korean Defense Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (4 awards), and the NATO Medal.
Soldier on SFC (Ret.) Spearman! Rest In Peace Mighty One!
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 6, 2019, at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Ga., with full Military Honors.

So sorry Trudy! He was a great soldier,husband ,and father! I know you all will miss him but he's now at rest.
